An antenna is a physical device that radiates energy, almost always with some directional dependence. Even an omni-directional antenna will have one or two narrow directions where there is a reduction or a null in the radiated energy. The energy leaving an antenna is also polarized — meaning that the electric field is in a particular orientation.

Theoretically, for efficient transfer of energy between two antennas, their respective radiation patterns must be optimized in the correct direction and the antennas must be polarized with the same orientation.

However, in the real world, where line of sight LOS between two antennas rarely exists, and at frequencies above about MHz, objects in the path between the antennas walls, structures, people, terrain, etc.

These scattering effects on the radiation pattern and polarization are random, uncontrollable, and typically change continuously with time, relative antenna position and orientation. Even if a device is located in a fixed position, polarization will typically change with time due to movement of nearby objects. As a result, while some general attention must be paid to radiation pattern shape and antenna polarization, these parameters can be optimized for a particular situation in only a general way.

Umesh sir and Sakshi mam encouraged me a lot as well as the content provided by them is the best. Vishal sir also guided me during my preparation. I am primarily focused on my research work and was not interested in the exam. Also, a lot of tricky questions were asked in the test series offered by Gate Academy and it gave me the necessary confidence for the exam.

I use to watch videos of Umesh Sir on Youtube these videos really helped me to clear most of my concepts. I always wanted to join Gate Academy but couldn't since I was working in a private company but these videos on Youtube really helped me.

Which saves my valuable time. Youtube videos are really helpful for me, it develops some new tricks to solve the questions.

Their test series really facilitate my hard work to come out as flying colours through this tough exam. For building Gate Aspirants I would like to tell them that no matter what ever be the situation never get discouraged and never give up.

Go for excellence. Everyone dreams for success and for that one needs a platform It helped me in every aspect whether it is related to studies or boosting my confidence.
